The Client was sharing an intake system with National Grid who had advised the Client of the necessity to split the NGED assets from the IFL assets during an upgrade of supply capacity.

DKC were appointed to carry out the detailed design for this works which included the complete design for the below ground infrastructure, earthing, 11kV and intake hotel services systems.

The Project was delivered on a fast track basis with DKC working closely with the Client Team, Civil and Structural Designer, National Grid and Installation Sub Contractors. The Project was delivered on time and within budgets.

This Project ended up becoming Phase 1 of what is currently a four Phase commission with IFL and DKC are happy to continue supporting this valued Client with further works to improve their Factory and ongoing Operations.
